Ki'i Kukui: Your Commitment

for Care and Usage

The

Ki'i Kukui

Four things are necessary to your receiving of the Ki`i Kukui:

We will need your photograph and signature. They are used to create an aka thread, or psychic link between you, your Aumakua (Divine Nature) and your Ki`i Kukui. This photograph will be returned to you if you wish.  We can return this photo to you when we send your Ki`i Kukui, or we can keep on file for your other requests for support from us.

Your Ki`i Kukui will arrive along instructions and information. You will get a pin to wear that indicates you are the bearer of a Ki`i Kukui. We ask you to wear this whenever you have your Ki`i Kukui with you so that others will know that you are prepared to attempt a healing on them.

At some point, your Ki`i Kukui will start getting darker and eventually become black. This means the kukui nut is "alive" and has continued to mature. When your Ki`i Kukui changes color, and each time you make an effective healing with it, please let us know. These success stories will be an inspiration to you and others who may want them for themselves. You can view and post them here:

The Ki`i Kukui is a defenseless little living thing and we want to make sure it has a good home. There are four na Kapu (KAH-poo) or rules regarding their care. Before we bless your Ki`i Kukui, we ask that you commit yourself in writing to keeping these Kapus:

Ki`i Kukui Agreements

1.       It is sensitive to others handling them and staring at them. So never let that happen. People will see it, of course, what we're talking about is the holding of it and the staring of it, turning it over in their stranger's hands as they stare at it intensely in curiosity or hostility. It is a sacred and rare thing you will have, and not to be put on public inspection. On the other hand, most KB wear them around their necks as a "Surfer" style chocker, if they are guys; or on a longer chain of Gold or Silver (NEVER Steel) if they are one of the gals.

2.       Its little shell will crack or break apart sometimes if drenched in water. So make sure you never wear it in the bath or shower. Never wash it in water. It may be cleaned with a damp cloth. A little moisture doesn't usually hurt them.

3.       Never let it get desecrated by allowing it to touch the ground. If it accidentally falls on the floor, that may not be a problem. A floor isn't the ground, is it?

4.       It must take nourishment from your love every three days or so. In other words, it must touch your skin almost every day. If you plan to go on an extended trip, be sure to have it with you.

It is my intention to abide by the above Huna Heiau Church kapus for my Ki`i Kukui.

Your Ki`i Kukui comes with a numbered certificate. As your Ki`i Kukui can be a family heirloom or given as a gift to a new owner, be sure to keep this certificate. If your Ki`i Kukui is ever damaged or allowed to die, you will need to return it to the  Huna Heiau Church with its certificate along with the pieces of your kukui shell so that it can be repaired. Please include a donation to cover shipping if possible, but there is no "charge" or "suggested donation" for us taking care of one of these sweet creatures made of a Kahuna's breath. Or checking that they are still alive and well.

Also, your new Ki`i Kukui will be shipped with a small starter of the sacramental `Awa powder to rub on its shell when it has been especially good!

All the Ki`i Kukui in the whole world are made by the initiated na Kahuna (Priests) of the Huna Heiau Church. There is a suggested donation of $122.00 for each Ki`i Kukui since we put quite an amount of attention into creating it. Or a donation of at least $20.00 to cover Materials, Shipping, and Handling. Only one Ki`i Kukui is granted to any person who is not a lala (member) of the HHC,  yet who agrees to abide by their Kapus and give them a happy home. No loyalty or study of, or understanding of Huna nor any commitment to the Huna Heiau Church is sought.

If it is your intention to be a Bearer of a Ki`i Kukui please print out, and then sign this document, and send it to us at the address below.

If it is your intention to have your own Ki`i Kukui, then just fill out the form below, and return it with a signed copy of this document. No sincere request is ever turned down.

Please send it to:
